Friends of God (FOG) is a non-denominational community founded in Aberdeen, Scotland, dedicated to celebrating Christ through worship, praise, and cultural expression. Established from a vision to unite believers, FOG brings together people from diverse backgrounds to experience the richness of African Gospel music and faith. Our mission is to foster unity and spiritual growth through vibrant worship experiences, inspiring events, and genuine fellowship. FOG’s signature event, Aberdeen Summer Praise, brings the community together to glorify God with music, dance, spoken word, and heartfelt worship. At Friends of God (FOG), our heartbeat is to see lives transformed through a genuine relationship with God and a vibrant expression of faith. Everything we do is anchored in purpose, guided by Scripture, and driven by a passion for revival in our generation.

Promoting Unity: We are committed to bringing together believers from diverse backgrounds, denominations, and cultures into one family in Christ. By fostering a supportive, loving, and Christ-centered community, we create a space where individuals can grow, belong, and thrive together in faith and fellowship.
Spreading the Message of Reconciliation: At the core of our mission is the Gospel. Inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:18–21, we are dedicated to sharing the message of reconciliation — that through Christ, humanity is restored to God. We seek to raise ambassadors of Christ who boldly live out and proclaim this truth in their daily lives.
Preserving and Celebrating Cultural Worship: As a community with rich African roots, we intentionally honour and preserve the beauty of African worship expressions, even while living abroad. Through vibrant praise, music, and cultural identity, we celebrate God in ways that are authentic, joyful, and deeply rooted in heritage.
Fostering Deep Spiritual Connection: We prioritise intimacy with God above all. Through dynamic praise, heartfelt worship, prayer, and the Word, we create environments where individuals can encounter God personally. We aim to nurture believers who don’t just know about God, but walk closely with Him as true Friends of God.
