Inaugural Event

We are delighted to reflect on the success of our inaugural Summer Praise 2024, a truly remarkable night that marked the beginning of what we believe is a growing move of God through Friends of God.

The event was held on 26th July 2024 at the Elim Pentecostal Church, Aberdeen, and brought together believers from across Scotland, with attendees travelling from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and many other cities to be part of this special gathering. It was a powerful display of unity, hunger, and a shared desire to exalt the name of Jesus.

We were richly blessed by our anointed guest ministers: Min. Yaw Boadu (London), Min. Felicity Ntori (Aberdeen), Min. Emmanuel Gyasi Addo Jnr (Aberdeen), and the exceptionally gifted spoken word minister, Min. Aba the Poet. Each minister brought a unique grace that contributed to the depth and impact of the night.

We were also honoured by the presence of distinguished leaders including Rev. Dr. Phill Kumi, Glasgow District Pastor, and his family, as well as Elder George, Presiding Elder for PIWC Edinburgh, alongside many other leaders and believers who joined us in worship.

The evening was filled with uplifting worship, impactful spoken word, and meaningful fellowship, creating an atmosphere where many encountered God in a fresh and tangible way. Lives were touched, hearts were stirred, and a deeper passion for God was ignited among attendees.

More than just an event, Summer Praise 2024 served as a foundation for the vision of Friends of God—to raise a generation committed to intimacy with God, authentic worship, and kingdom impact.
